Simply put, this is our home. We have a vested interest in this often-forgotten historic neighborhood that is located just minutes from downtown Detroit.
More Than Just a Neighborhood
NW Goldberg, a predominantly African American neighborhood, is home to Motown Museum, Rebel Nell and Recycle Here! With more than 1,500 residents, the neighborhood is seeing an increase in interest and investment.
With every cup of dough we sell, 5 % of all sales go directly to the Dough that Makes a Different Fund, administered by NW Goldberg Cares, a 501(c)(3) located in the heart of Detroit Dough’s NW Goldberg neighborhood. These funds are designated to support initiatives aiming to transform the NW Goldberg neighborhood.
More than 60,000 cups of Detroit Dough have been purchased from stadiums, movie theaters and pop-ups
Nearly $10,000 has been donated to fund projects and initiatives within NW Goldberg impacting residents and neighbors
Join in on the action and make an impact in our neighborhood.
- Volunteer – Join us and get dirty! Come to a community event or clean-up, all in an effort to make a difference in this once forgotten neighborhood.
- Donate – As with any organization, there are operational expenses. NW Goldberg strives for their projects to have a high impact at the lowest possible cost. Nevertheless, there is a cost and your support as they execute their awesome mission.
